The owner was outstanding in her attention to my wife and I.The room had fantastic outlook over a citrus orchard, was private and very quiet. The staff were always helpful, polite and warm. I recommend this b&b to the highest accolade possible.
nice and clean house in the garden of orange ansd lemon trees
room was a bit of moisture
Great location, right in the center of the city but since it was in a lemon grove, it felt remote and quiet. Staff was helpful and spoke english. Affordable.
Nice people and a good value for Sorrento. Don't expect luxury at these prices. Very calm setting
The reception is very warmly to us.The hotel is small but good. The location is also good.10 minutes to the port by walk.Especially the
Lovely location, set in a lemon grove- a real oasis in the town. Rooms were clean, airy and comfortable. Breakfasts were lavish.
The toilet was a bit difficult to flush and we were never able to successfully log on to the free wifi.
Overall great place to spend few days in Sorrento . Very good location, close to the bus and train station and 10 min walk from the port . The staff was very helpfull and friendly . The room was clean , but a little small and the we had some minor problems with water on the floor while showering (towels supplied are pretty bad, so if you care just bring your own.).We didn't have any problem , but security in the b&b was poor ( so I wouldn't leave any valuable in the room). Breakfast was pretty good ( not great quality but plenty ). I would go back and I would recommend it in terms of price/quality.
Helpful staff, peacefull ambience, easy walk to Sorrento old town, spacious room, ideal for our 3 day stay.
'Very helpful and accommodating staff. Did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Lovely location in quiet lemon/orange grove just outside the center of town. Very well located: an easy walk everywhere except the port.
Had high expectation to this b&b having seen all the reviews, turned out to be ok but not as excited as expected. A converted B&B in a small lemon orchard surrounded by surrounding residences and other uses buildings. The curb appeal in the immediate vicinity is just so so ..It takes about 15-20 minutes walk to/from town which is acceptable. The room is large, comfortable and clean. Service is relatively limited as the staff (owner's daughter) is only part time on site. The owner has a restaurant down the new marina port, access to it is very inconvenient especially at night time. It is also far away from the main tourist area, so we didn't try it. Be prepared that it wouldn't be surrounded by yellow lemons year round; it is seasonal ... Overall, I think this B&B is ok for value of money, .. but I wouldn't say it is exceptionally good...
No major complains but the continental breakfast is a bit dull especially if you stay there for a few days like us; the portion is small too. The bathroom drainage is bad.
Great family, very helpful. So differant to large hotels. No complaints only a kettle would have been nice . their restaurant is grat on the marino picco. They trated us as family and we would go back again, this being my 2nd visit to the resort
After being in the City hustle and bustle for weeks, we really enjoyed this peaceful and picturesque place. On arrival to the b&b in walking though the front gate with the lemon and orange orchid on either side we were greeted by Serena who made us feel very welcome and offered us some orange juice squeezed freshly from the orange trees. She was also kind enough to show us on the map were to go, where to eat and even printed bus and ferry timetables for us, how good is that for service. We also spent many nights eating at the owner of the b&b restaurants down by the pier called La Kambusa, great food and great hospitality by the owner Carmine. Our room was large and spacious and very inviting, we really had a peaceful and restful stay. Breakfast was also nice, especially considering all the other crappy continental breakfasts we had on our journeys. In the end why stay at a hotel, when you can stay somewhere as friendly and as well priced as this b&B. Location is also great as it is under 10minute walk from train station and same to the town of Sorrento, highly recommended and a highlight of our honeymoon in Europe for some rest and relaxation.
I liked the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great value for the money and conveniently located to use as a base to explore the Amalfi coast. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The lemon and orange trees added to the ambiance. Tons of fruit trees in the middle of the city. The location was great. It was an easy walk to shopping, restuarants and the train or bus.
The owner was very helpful, wonderful old original features in the room & bathroom, wonderful lemon & orange trees garden. Good breakfast, super-coffee :-)
Good Location, friendly&accomodating owner, good value for money, easy to get around.Friendly staff.
